Student Team Collaboration

Create your project team, invite your people, and build together — all in one place.

Once you've found the right people on CampusConnect, the next challenge is keeping everyone aligned. CampusConnect's Teams feature gives every student project group a shared home: a team dashboard, a member directory, and a real-time group chat with file sharing — so your collaboration stays organised from kickoff to delivery.

What the Teams Feature Includes

Create a Team
Any signed-in student can create a named team for their project, hackathon, or study group in seconds.
🔑
Invite Code
Each team gets a unique invite code. Share it with teammates and they can join instantly — no admin approvals needed.
👥
Member Directory
See every member of your team in one place, with their profile details and roles visible to the whole group.
💬
Real-Time Team Chat
A live group chat where every team member can send messages that appear instantly for everyone in the room.
📎
File Sharing
Attach and share files directly in the team chat — wireframes, code snippets, documents, and images.
🛡️
Team Admin Controls
The team creator has admin controls to manage membership and keep the group organized.

How to Get Your Team Started

You can also join an existing team if someone shares an invite code with you — just enter it in the Team section and you're in.

Built for the Way Student Teams Actually Work

Student project teams don't work like corporate Slack workspaces. They form quickly, often across different colleges or branches, and they need to move fast without setup overhead. CampusConnect Teams are designed for exactly this:

Teams Work Best When You Start with the Right People

The Teams feature is most powerful when you've already found the right collaborators. Start in Find Teammates to discover students with the skills your project needs, connect and message them to align on the idea, and then create a team to make the collaboration official and structured.

You can also use the Posts feed to post a Team Recruitment notice and let interested students come to you — then share your invite code once you find the right fit.
